उष्णकटिबंधीय अवदाब क्या है?

Tropical depressions are the initial organized stage of tropical cyclone formation. They have closed circulation and organized convection but winds below tropical storm threshold. Many depressions dissipate without intensifying, but those that strengthen become tropical storms. Monsoon depressions over the Bay of Bengal and South China Sea bring heavy rain to the region even without reaching storm intensity.
