अचानक बाढ़ क्या है?

Flash floods are the most dangerous type of flood because they occur with little warning, sometimes within minutes of heavy rain. In Southeast Asian cities, clogged drains and impervious concrete surfaces make urban flash flooding common during monsoon storms. In mountainous terrain (Philippines, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar), flash floods combine with landslides to devastating effect. Warning time is typically 1-3 hours at most.
