भूस्खलन क्या है?

Landslides are one of the most dangerous weather-related hazards in Southeast Asia, where steep volcanic terrain meets intense monsoon rainfall. Indonesia, the Philippines and Myanmar experience hundreds of fatal landslides per year. Deforestation dramatically increases landslide risk by removing root systems that stabilise slopes. Warning signs include cracking ground, tilting trees, unusual water seepage and sudden changes in stream flow.
