उष्णकटिबंधीय क्या है?

The tropics cover about 40% of Earth’s surface but contain the majority of the world’s biodiversity and a large share of its population. All of Southeast Asia lies within the tropics, which is why the region experiences warm temperatures year-round, high solar radiation and strong monsoonal rainfall. The tropics are also where most of the world’s severe tropical weather (typhoons, monsoon floods, thunderstorms) is concentrated.
