सूखा क्या है?

Meteorological drought is defined as a sustained period of below-average precipitation. Agricultural drought occurs when soil moisture is too low for crops. Hydrological drought means low water levels in rivers and reservoirs. In Southeast Asia, drought is strongly linked to El Niño events, which weaken the monsoon and reduce rainfall across Indonesia, the Philippines and mainland SE Asia.
