हिमवर्षा क्या है?

Sleet forms when snowflakes pass through a warm layer above the surface and partially melt, then refreeze into ice pellets in a cold layer near the ground. It is extremely rare in Southeast Asia, occurring only at the highest elevations in the northern mountains of Myanmar and Vietnam during extreme cold events. The distinction between sleet and freezing rain depends on the depth of the cold surface layer.
