जेट धारा क्या है?

The subtropical jet stream affects Southeast Asian weather by steering upper-level troughs and ridges that modulate monsoon intensity. When the jet dips south of its usual position, it can enhance cold surges that push cool air deep into mainland Southeast Asia. The position of the jet stream also affects typhoon tracks — strong upper-level westerlies can recurve typhoons away from the Philippines and toward Japan.
