Tacadang

Tacadang is one of the smaller communities in Cordillera, Philippines, known for its traditional character.

Like much of Philippines, Tacadang has a tropical monsoon climate — hot temperatures throughout the year with a clear contrast between the rainy season (roughly May to October) and the drier, sunnier months from November onward. Humidity is consistently high, with daytime highs between 30°C and 35°C.

During the rainy season, Tacadang can see several centimetres of rain in a single afternoon. Storms often arrive late in the day and clear by evening, leaving humid but cooler conditions overnight.

Visitors looking for the best weather in Tacadang should aim for the November–February window, when the monsoon has passed and humidity drops noticeably.

High in the mountains, Tacadang experiences a markedly cooler climate than the surrounding lowlands. Morning fog, occasional cold snaps and significantly lower humidity are common.
