basicWhat is Drizzle?
Drizzle is distinct from rain in that the droplets are much smaller and fall more slowly. It is typically associated with stratus clouds and can persist for hours. Drizzle rarely produces significant accumulation but can reduce visibility and make surfaces slippery. In Vietnam, the characteristic “phùn” drizzle of Hanoi’s winter is a form of persistent light drizzle.
