phenomenaWhat is Anticyclone?
Anticyclones (high-pressure systems) produce descending air that warms and dries as it compresses, suppressing cloud formation. In Southeast Asia, the Siberian anticyclone drives the northeast monsoon, bringing dry cool weather from November to February. Persistent anticyclones can cause drought and heatwaves by blocking moisture-bearing weather systems.
