Condensation

Water vapour turning into liquid droplets, forming clouds, fog and dew. Releases latent heat that powers storms.

basic

What is Condensation?

Condensation occurs when air cools to its dew point or when moisture-laden air meets a cooler surface. The latent heat released during condensation is the primary energy source for thunderstorms and tropical cyclones. Without condensation, there would be no rain, no clouds, and no severe weather.
